I do not accept insurance due to the necessity of sharing personal information about our work together. If you choose I will give you receipts that you can submit but I must inform you the insurance companies will request personal & sensitive information about you.
By not using insurance our work together is safer for you as an individual in matters of health, life and disability insurance as well as some job opportunities.
Confidentiality:
For your protection, it is my practice not to release any information about you without your written permission. If you should want information about you released to someone of your choice, I will provide you with a “Release of Information” form.
Some exceptions to confidentiality do exist and they are defined by HIPPA regulations.
I am highly sensitive to the need for privacy and will do everything possible to protect you in this regard.
Occasionally we might chance to meet me at some public gathering such as a restaurant or social event. As I do not want to put you in an awkward position, my general policy is to say “hello” and leave it up to you if you would like to continue a conversation.
Our Communications:
You will always be able to reach me at my office. There will be times when I am on another call or in a session but there is a voice mail where you can leave a message. I will return your call as soon as possible. Please note that I am the only one that retrieves messages so feel free to say what is important to you. To send confidential email use, drsampizzi@msn.com. Once we agree to work together you will be given a private cell number to contact me if other communications are not viable.
The Process:
In order to resolve your present difficulties you must take chances and be open and honest with me. The process often involves:
- Looking back in time to explore our beginnings.
- Understanding critical events in your life that have shaped you.
- Taking risks to alter present problems
If you are ready…let’s start.
